XBOX 360 AC Adapter

My son Rehan, got a XBox 360 as a gift from his lovable uncle Arafath. Once received rehan was soo much excited. Once we connected the adapter, it blew up. Then we found that AC adapter is made for USA which works under 110 W.

I contacted the microsoft online chat for xbox and he gave me two options

Option 1 : Pack the Adapter and send to this address. The promised to send me brand new one.I think they will send me 110 V again or may be the warranty is no more for UAE.

Both options seems to be not working.

So, i went Carrefour and got to know that i can get a new AC adapter in a store in Hamdan Center in Electra , Store name "Game Store".Finally i got a original AC Adapter for AED 125.

Finally, my son was happy with his XBox.
